JACKSON GIFFORD
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Jackson Gifford (he/him) is the founding artistic director of Southern Plains Productions. Originally from Oklahoma, Gifford is a theatre artist with a passion for creating thought provoking performances.
In addition to his work with his own company, Gifford assists Broadway producer Jim Kierstead. Interlochen Arts Academy Alum, BFA: Otterbein University. He currently lives in Oklahoma City and New York City.
ELLEN GIFFORD
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ellen Gifford (she/her) currently serves as the executive director for Southern Plains Productions. She previously served as senior vice president of human resources for Ascension, a Catholic health ministry with operations in 22 states. Ellen has held HR leadership roles in multiple industries, including healthcare, insurance, staffing, and hospitality. She earned an MBA degree from Oklahoma Christian University and is a certified Lean Leader, SHRM-certified HR professional, and a Results Based Leadership Institute graduate. She is thrilled to help Southern Plains Productions bring its fourth season of live theatre to the Oklahoma City community.
