The Studio at Southern Plains serves as an incubator for emerging talent, offering opportunities for growth, experimentation, and professional development. This season we're launching our Broadway Masterclass Series, connecting students with working theatre professionals for real-world feedback designed to sharpen their craft and inspire their artistic journey.

Broadway Masterclass: Acting Through Song
with Maya Lagerstam (Shucked, National Tour)

Join actor Maya Lagerstam for a dynamic masterclass focused on acting a song, the art of delivering a compelling vocal performance that tells a story. Students will receive direct, individualized feedback from a working theatre professional to help elevate their craft.
Ages: 13 & up
Cost: $35 to sing; $15 to observe
Location: Civic Center Music Hall
When: Saturday, May 16, 10 - 11:30 am
Performers: Come prepared with a 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (accompanist provided). Please also bring your song book with any other cuts you feel prepared to sing.
Observers: Great for younger students or those just looking to learn by watching.
